Location:
Carnelian Bay is a small town in the middle of Kings Beach and Tahoe City, and central to activities around the Lake. The famous Gar Woods restaurant is located in the heart of Carnelian Bay and offers a beautiful view and public pier. Next door, Patton Beach has beach activity options. In the Winter months, cross country skiing is available within a short drive. Northstar, Palisades Tahoe, and more are less than a half hour drive. 

Parking:
Parking is available in front of the home for 3 cars MAX.  All cars must park on the driveway. No street parking per county ordinance.
Prepare for mountain or winter weather driving in winter months. This may mean Four wheel drive with snow tires or chains. Check weather or road reports. AWD and 4WD necessary to get up the mountain roads and some driveways in the winter months. 

Other things to Note:
* Renters must be 25+ 
* This is a non-smoking home. 
* Pets are not allowed at this home. 
* Maximum Occupancy per county ordinance is 5 adults.
* Use of the BBQ is not guaranteed in winter months, due to limited access.
* Like most homes/condos in Tahoe, this one does not have Air Conditioning. There will be fans available for your use!
* Your safety matters. This property may features exterior security cameras. The cameras are outward facing and do not look into interior spaces. The cameras will continuously record video and sound while guests are in residence.

Ski Lease 2025/2026 Season:
**Available for 2026 ski lease starting as early as January 8, 2026. $4,960 per month for rent, garbage, internet and driveway snow removal. Online booking is not available, so please review the ski lease tab, then contact us for more information to determine the next steps to ski or ride like a local this season!

From start to finish, the experience booking and staying at this rental was great! My point of contact, Bethany, was very responsive and helpful with all of the questions I had. This was a really well equipped rental. The kitchen may have honestly been one of the best equipped rental kitchens I’ve used. Paper products and extra blankets and towels were very well stocked and we really didn’t want for anything extra. The fireplace is such a cozy touch and the whole place felt very comfortable and homey. Most importantly during ski season, the hot tub was size-able enough for all 5 of us adults, and the heat in the house was strong and warmed us up quickly! I’d definitely stay here again.

Although this place is small (there were four of us) we had a good experience overall. The kitchen is well-equipped with recent updates. We were five minutes away from Tahoe Cross-Country, one of our favorite Tahoe locations.
