We had a pleasant and comfortable stay. The house had everything we needed and it was close to restaurants and the slopes (Palisades). One minor issue was the ice on the driveway, but they left us salt to deal with the ice. Thank you for the goodie bag. So thoughtful!

We stayed here in December with our kiddos and small dog. The location was fabulous and the house was super cozy. More than enough space for the family. Property management was very responsive when we had questions. There were lots of little spaces but would be hard for multiple families unless someone wants to sleep in the romper room (which was huge by the way) with kiddos. Would definitely recommend.

Great stay and helpful information provided in the binder. We all had a great time. One comment is the the propane tank for the BBQ was empty, but we survived without it. Wonderful time in the snow.

Quick stay for the Tahoe Relay swim that weekend. Perfect location, good price.Cabin is older, kitchen is pretty bare bones, but good working order. The bunkhouse mattresses were great and was cozy to sleep the whole family up top.

It was nice and it remind of the 70's show hahaha no a/c and only one fan work. But alot of old dvd movies love it. Of there is nosie coz of the july 4 but it was good. I dont mind book this place again.

We had the best stay here! We had kiddos and it was great with the large room and all the beds upstairs! It worked perfect for our family! The deck was nice and shaded! Going to try to book again for next summer!!

This place was perfect for eight people in three dogs. Very grandma like cabin all the amenities were there, including comfortable couches, and seating areas. The upstairs area was like a big dorm with lots of beds, heat TV, gaming, bathroom, shower. All the kids were quite content with the screens in their hands. The location is perfect. About 45 minutes from Southlake Tahoe to 45 minutes from Donner summit..

My husband, myself, and our dog spent 6 nights in Carnelian Bay in this nicely maintained home. Our stay was comfortable and the house had everything we needed from every cooking necessity to porches where we could linger in the afternoons.. It was conveniently located to everything and it was just a short walk down to the lake where we would go for wonderful walks early each morning. We had an opportunity to meet some of the Tahoe Rental Co. staff and they were terrific! Kudos to Aaron who came out on a Sunday to help us move a boulder that had rolled into the road. He was so accommodating. We will definitely use Tahoe Rental again!! Thanks for a great vacation!

Such a great experience! Cozy home so close to all the things we planned to do! Easy to find, easy to get into! Such a fun “sleepover” vibe for a girls trip with all the beds in the upstairs room! Clean and comfortable!

It was a comfy place that was a great location and nice neighborhood to walk the dog around. The outside deck with the patio furniture is what makes the living space feel big and spacious and gives plenty of room for a full house of people. The beds and bedding aren’t the most comfortable and the walls and house itself show it’s age and good use out of it. Bedroom situation is a shared one minus one room so guests should be comfortable with each other and wouldn’t be good for multiple couples or people who like their privacy. Also, definitely could have supplied more paper products better (had to go buy toilet paper and paper tow is) with more not so used kitchen cooking tools. But it gets the job done if you are an easy going, laid back, simplistic kind of crew looking for something affordable that isn’t luxurious and has more of a home feel in a great location that is dog friendly!

It was exactly like the pictures. The place was clean great location in north Tahoe. I like North Tahoe better it is less crowded. The only problem was the internet was slow.

The main level features the updated kitchen, living room with large TV, dining area and a queen bedroom. The mid level room features a sofa and a TV for private television watching and includes sleeping for 6 more in this family friendly recreation room. The entire family will enjoy staying at this comfortable home complete with WIFI and three cable TVs equipped for Streaming and Blu-ray/DVD players. Guests will also find a great selection of movies, books, and games, PS3, plus a large, furnished deck with a gas grill.

Our home is located on Tahoe's North Shore in the town of Carnelian Bay between Kings Beach and Tahoe City. Carnelian Bay offers access to beautiful beaches, biking and hiking. You are only a 10 minute walk to pet friendly beach, 7-11 mini store, miniature golf, and great restaurants. In winter you will enjoy being close to popular ski resorts and snow shoeing trails. 
 
Parking:
Parking is available for a maximum of 3 vehicles. All cars must park on the driveway. Garage access for one car available. No street parking per county ordinance.
Prepare for mountain or winter weather driving in winter months. This may mean Four wheel drive with snow tires or chains. Check weather or road reports. AWD and 4WD necessary to get up the mountain roads and some driveways in the winter months. 

Other things to Note:
* Renters must be 25+ 
* This is a non-smoking home. 
* Maximum Occupancy per county ordinance is 8 adults.
* Use of the BBQ is not guaranteed in winter months, due to limited access.
* Like most homes/condos in Tahoe, this one does not have Air Conditioning. There will be fans available for your use!
* Your safety matters. This property may features exterior security cameras. The cameras are outward facing and do not look into interior spaces. The cameras will continuously record video and sound while guests are in residence.

**Available for 2026 ski lease starting as early at January 8, 2026. $3,710 per month for rent, garbage, internet and driveway snow removal.
